CHC30213 Certificate III in Education Support

The Certificate III in Education Support reflects the role of workers in a range of education settings, including public and independent schools and community education settings, who provide assistance and support to teachers and students under broad-based supervision. This qualification is appropriate for those working as teacher aides, in-home tutors, governesses, and other roles that support educators.

 

Units of Competency:

17 units of competency - 12 core units, 5 elective units. 

 

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):  This qualification is available for partial or full RPL. Your application for RPL must be submitted prior to commencing study.

Requirements: All participants are required to provide identification, preferably with a photo (e.g. driver's licence, firearms licence, passport). You must also bring your Unique Student Identifier (USI). We are unable to generate your certification without this. If you do not have a USI, please create one at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi

There are no pre-requisites for this qualification, however some imported units may have specific pre-requisites. 

Work Placement: This qualification requires a mandatory minimum of 100 hours of vocational placement. Learners are required to source their own placements. Acceptable placement locations include any education settings.

 

Learning Support: If you feel as though you will need some additional learning support to complete this course, please provide details when making your booking. All participants are required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment prior to beginning course.
