CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services

This qualification reflects the role of entry level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of person-centred services. Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs.

 

At this level, work takes place under the direction of others and supervision may be direct or indirect. Work may take place in a range of community services organisations.

 

Units of Competency:

12 units of competency - 5 core units, 7 elective units.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):  This qualification is available for partial or full RPL. Your application for RPL must be submitted prior to commencing study.

Requirements: All participants are required to provide identification, preferably with a photo (e.g. driver's licence, firearms licence, passport). You must also bring your Unique Student Identifier (USI). We are unable to generate your certification without this. If you do not have a USI, please create one at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi

There are no pre-requisites for this qualification, however some imported units may have specific pre-requisites. 

 

Learning Support: If you feel as though you will need some additional learning support to complete this course, please provide details when making your booking. All participants are required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment prior to beginning course.

Face-to-face training, online, Zoom virtual classrooms, workplace (if applicable) and self-paced individual study.

​Co-contribution Fees apply for Subsidised Training

​Career Start Mainstream

 Concessional: $50.00/unit x 12 = $600.00

Non-Concessional: $100.00/unit x 12 = $1200.00

 Career Start Traineeship 

 $1.60 per nominal hour. Exemptions may apply if the student is school-based or under 25 years of age.​

Full Fee for service will apply: $3,504.00 (*Note - Payment Plans can be organised on request)

Certification

On successful completion of all training and assessment, learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement and a Record of Results for CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services.
