Health & Safety Representative Training - Full Course
Health and safety representatives (HSR) and health and safety committees (HSC) provide the means to:

give workers a voice in health and safety matters at the workplace

involve workers through participation and consultation.
From 1 July 2018, all HSRs must undertake the relevant approved training course within six months of their election. Existing HSRs, who have not already completed the training, will have six months from 1 July 2018 to undertake this training. If a worker chooses not to undertake the training within the time period, they will no longer be eligible to fulfill the role of HSR and will need to be replaced. (WorkCover Queensland 2018)
Duration: 5 days of face-to-face training
Course Cost: $1,226.00 per participant. RAPAD Member Councils - please contact us for customised schedule of fees.
Outcome: On successful completion of all training and assessment requirements, participants will receive a Statement of Attendance for WHSQHSRNCB01 Health & Safety Representative (Full Course).
Requirements:

All participants are required to provide identification for sighting, preferably with a photo (e.g. driver's licence, firearms licence, passport).

Currently elected as a Health & Safety Representative within your workplace, or seeking to be elected.
