Assist Clients with Medications - Skill Set
This skill set reflects the skill requirements to provide support a person to self-administer medication,
and is suitable for people working in various care and support roles in the community services industry
who wish to develop skills in supporting people to self-administer medication.
Duration: 2-3 consecutive days of face-to-face training, depending on group size. There is no pre-reading required.
Course Cost: $420.00 per participant
Outcome: On successful completion of all training and assessment requirements, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for CHCSS00070 Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set, which includes the units HLTAAP001 Recognise healthy body systems and HLTHPS006 Assist clients with medication.
Requirements: All participants are required to provide identification, preferably with a photo (e.g. driver's licence, gun licence, passport). You must also bring your Unique Student Identifier (USI). We are unable to generate your certification without this. If you do not have a USI, please create one at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi
